Pints & Pinballs: A Journey through Breweries & Steampunk

gettyimages 1386915196

Embrace the Steampunk Aesthetic with Brewery Flavors and Pinball Excitement!

Our tour includes three brewery stops, each offering a complimentary full pint and discussions with the Brewmasters.

The first stop is a new, locally themed brewery in Palmer, Massachusetts, the Town of Seven Railroads. Enjoy your pint, then hop back on board for a journey to an exhibit blending Victorian aesthetics with futuristic elements, known as Steampunk. You’ll be greeted by the famous artist himself, who will give you an ultimate tour of his projects and shop. Dubbed the “Steampunk Guru” by the Wall Street Journal and the “Steampunk Evangelist” by Wired Magazine, his functional Steampunk artwork and design have been featured in the Boston Globe, The Chicago Tribune, The New York Times, Architectural Digest, CNN, NPR, MTV, A&E, HGTV, and Netflix. The Steampunk Guru describes his work as “the fusion of history, art, technology, and adaptive reuse as a beautiful, functional solution to a variety of design challenges.” After this exclusive look into Steampunk culture, we will venture to our next brewery, which features a variety of beers historically named after the region. During your hearty lunch and choice of beer or beverage, you’ll gain insight into the brewery’s historical preferences. There will be leisure time to tour the facility and observe the brewing process. We encourage you to take some pints for the way home or store them in our on-board cooler for the remainder of the tour. From this historically themed brewery, we head to a hidden gem that has sparked the revitalization of its entire area. This brewery is dedicated to preserving and modernizing its industrial location. Here, you’ll enjoy a tasting of their flagship brews, ending with a pint of your choice. At each brewery stop, we hope you’ll purchase more pints for your journey home or to enjoy on the trolley ride to our final destination. To round out the tour, we’ll unwind at a hidden vintage pinball location with over 50 machines. This private collection is open exclusively for our Bygone Excursions experience. All pinball machines are set to free play for our group, with areas to relax or compete with one another.
